Northern GardeningThrough the Seasons
These postings are a collection of thoughts, comments and gripes about gardening in the north, where a good year has two frost-free months, and bears and moose wandering through my country garden are a fact of life. And the lilacs are incredible when they are in bloom, the carrots are the best in the world, Asiatic lilies and Siberian irises do spendidly, and there are “only” about 150 varietries of roses that we can grow. Welcome to Zone 3, Prince George, B.C.

Hi there,
I am just wondering how I can get your 2012 catalog mailed to my address?
Barb
There is no catalogue – although the garden is still growing strong, the nursery hasn’t been open for retail sales for nearly five years now. We do grow some native woody plants for reclamation work, but only on contract. Sorry!
Thanks for your interest,
Barb
